Tips to identify star clusters in the night sky

At the beginning of May, the Pleiades star cluster will set around an hour after sunset, and by the end of May, it will set around an hour before sunset.
The Pleiades star cluster will be visible all night in our sky in November 2025 – when it rises around sunset and sets around sunrise. It will be the best time of the year to observe the Pleiades star cluster.
Beehive star cluster in May 2025
The Beehive star cluster will be visible from early evening to midnight in May 2025.
At the beginning of May, the Beehive star cluster will set around a couple of hours after midnight, and by the end of May, it will set around midnight.
The Beehive star cluster will be visible near reddish Mars in early May 2025. As the month progresses, Mars will move away from the Beehive star cluster and toward Regulus, the brightest star in the constellation Leo, the Lion.
The Beehive star cluster will be visible near the waxing crescent moon on the evening of May 30, 2025.
The Beehive star cluster will be visible all night in our sky in February 2026 – when it rises around sunset and sets around sunrise. It will be the best time of the year to observe the Beehive star cluster.
